I never had an issue with the 3D and I love the mechanic. Of course if the face isnt centered the 3D doesnt work. in my idea, so you can see the depth in it. same way as 3D glasses on ps3 games that I considered worse and way more expensive

I came here expecting something I didn't know, sadly there wasn't. But yeah this console is great. Can't wait for the Switch homebrews

the TN screen is much more yellow than the IPS screen. I thankfully have a top IPS screen but a bottom TN screen.

Have had my N3DSXL white (I call it my Baymax) for years now. Recently got an excellent condition 2nd hand N2DSXL orange white, loving them both.

I got my N2DS in 2020 to replace my og 2DS that died on me. It was already being phased out, but still less than N3DS so I went with that. Plus, my glasses prescription gets stronger every year and I don't trust myself to limit the 3D if I bought a N3DS lol.

Hey never had 3DS, always wanted one 😭 Only have the older ones before 3DS. So basically main question is for the roms can we download from the internet within the 3DS or do we need a computer or laptop to always download a rom, because since there are new rom hacks we love to play. So does it require a computer or laptop? Or can we down any gbc or gba or ds rom hacks??

I bought my 3ds 5 months before the Switch came out. I was saving up for a switch, but a friend from work was selling his new XL, because he wanted a new that had a black Friday deal. I wasn't going to buy it but it was so cheap that I couldn't resist. I was so happy to be on board, always wanted a 3ds and I could have one without missing out on the Switch.

It was not affordable in the slightest at launch what you on brah 🤣 I spent $249.99 on that thing back in the day a week after launch which when adjusted for inflation comes to $349.87 in 2024 and that's wild af for that little thing when it had hardly any launch titles but I regret nothing not even a little as it continued to get better and better so you get what you pay for I guess. I eventually upgraded to the New 3ds xl and down the line hacked it out the wazoo and recently got a shiny new 3200mah battery after my og battery bloated and turned my system off randomly and it lasts way longer sense it was mobbing on 1750mah before practically doubling the battery life.

Actually, only the original DS and DS Lite can play Gba games. The 3ds cannot.

I loved Links Awakening but was disappointed with the ending. I think this game and Odyssey both had opportunities to make some great twists but like always, Nintendo refuses to put any sort of unique story into their first party games.

I used to own a dual ips new 3ds xl but ever since pc was able to emulate the games in 4k there was really no point in owning a 3ds so I sold mine for a lotta money 😂

I was more of a playstation and xbox guy myself but still liked the previous nintendo consoles but switch is something else I have over 60 games for it and it's so enjoyable. Mario kart 8 deluxe, Mario odyseey, zelda both, smash ultimate, lugis mansion 3, Mario maker 2, Splatoon 2, metorid prime and dread, kirby return to dreamland and forgotten Island, pikmin 4 mutiplats that are solid on it, it shocked me how nintendo made something so universal that It can appeal to any gamer which is one problem I had with the Wii.

New 2DS/3DS XL are my favourite handheld ever, but switch has the much better library of games.

literally bought one (New 3DS XL Black Metallic Very Good condition) on ebay for around $250 which I believe is like $50 over MSRP when it dropped. I firmly believe it will hit around $300 + for very good taken care of version and these are just for the normal color ones.

absolutely loved this! i’ve only played on a new 3ds xl and i couldn’t believe how small my friend’s 3ds felt in comparison. it was really neat seeing all of the handhelds lined up next to each other.

I love the original 3ds and the timeline of the systems. We will never see anything like this outstanding portable console ever again, and that is sad. As we play on the new consoles we have the flashbacks of the amazing times on the ds, 3ds and 2ds consoles and this is just so good thinking about and that is why the 3ds remains one of my favourite game systems of all time. Ds games like mario kart ds and super mario 64 ds were both great games that could be played on the 3ds and this is another reason why i visit CEX to by these amazing games for me to play.😊
